Visual update to the Gmail search box

This launch comes with two updates.

  1. Redesigned powerful search icon - The icon for powerful search options has been redesigned, and the icon positioning has been adjusted.  When the given icon is clicked, a visual interface opens that includes Gmail's sophisticated search operators to assist you in finding certain emails.

  1. Update to the prompt text for Gmail and Chat users - When you're using Gmail or Google Chat, the search box's suggestion text will now state "search all conversations." There will be no change if you are using only  Gmail, and the wording will still state "search mail."


Available to all Google Workspace customers, as well as G Suite Basic and Business customers.
