Sort and filter cells by text or fill color in Google Sheets

This update can be called as one the most wanted features by fellow G-Suite users. 
The two parameters would be;

  • Text color 
  • Fill (background) color 

These new filters join the sorting by values and conditions squad to surface the right results faster and easily. This is available in web & mobile as well. To use this you may select,
Filter -> Filter by Color -> then select “Fill color” or “Text color”. Matching cells will be display at the top of the range.
This feature will be available by default
