Add a page break before paragraphs in Google Docs

 

With Google Docs' new "Add page break before" function, you may now set a paragraph to always commence on a new page. This is especially important if you want specific paragraph styles, such as titles, subtitles, or headers, to always produce a new page.




This also implies that you may import and export Microsoft Word and other third-party documents with paragraphs formatted with "Page break before," and Docs will retain the formatting.


How to use it:


Format → Line & paragraph spacing → Add page break before.


Available to all Google Workspace customers, as well as G Suite Basic and Business customers
