At the moment, content managers can modify, rearrange, and delete shared drive content, but they are unable to share documents in shared drives. Now admins will see a new shared drive setting that can be enabled or disabled to give content managers the ability to share folders in shared drives. As per the Google records by February 2023, all content managers will have the ability to share folders by default. If you’d like this feature to remain off for end users, disable the setting now. Enabling content managers to share folders is a highly requested feature that will help organizations better manage access to their data. led by your admin, content managers can share folders starting February 2023. Automate HR Document Management System with Docusign

Image
The workforce is more dispersed than ever nowadays. The new standard for HR teams is remote hiring and on boarding. Every year, growing enterprises hire hundreds of people, collecting a ton of paperwork from various employee groups, subsidiaries, and global locations.  When a new employee joins the company, they are welcomed with a lot of paperwork, and at the back end, the HR department has to send the right documents to the right employees at the right time, everything from offer letters and employee handbooks to all other recruitment-related activities. HR people collect all the documents in a timely manner and store them for future use and audit purposes. eSignature has the ability to automatically archive completed documents to a cloud storage provider, export data to Google Sheets, and start workflows in DocSign CLM. So the HR team can streamline their HR processes and ensure that their documents are stored at the right time and in the right location. HR teams can prevent wasting

The Culture at FINETECH

Image
My first day working at FINETECH consultancy was a pleasant experience. My co-workers have been welcoming and helped me a lot in my domain, which is social media marketing. I provide a youthful look at the social media landscapes of my generation, such as Instagram and Tik Tok. Now I've been tasked to comment on the overall company culture of FINETECH consultancy. In addition to salary, benefits, and opportunities to grow professionally, many employees consider company culture important when looking for a new job. According to an Indeed survey, 46% of job seekers who have viewed jobs but did not apply said they ultimately chose not to use them because they didn't feel it would be a good culture fit. Understanding different business cultures can help you develop a positive one for your workplace that centers on your company values, mission, and goals and helps your employees be productive, satisfied, and engaged. "good" company culture is suitable for a business and th

Share profile links via Contacts easily

A new Google Contacts (contacts.google.com) interface that offers detailed information about your coworkers and stakeholders was introduced in 2021. Every Workspace email contact now gets a new profile link that is simple to copy, share, and transmit among colleagues. This new profile link makes it easier for everyone in your company to connect and keep in contact. Admins: It's beneficial to have user data fully supplied across all Google Workspace applications because this functionality only surfaces for contacts whose Workspace profiles are linked to an email address. Workspace administrators can enter this information in a few places: The Admin console's "Users" section Google Cloud Directory Sync Admin SDK  End users:  Once available, access the “Copy profile link” in one of two ways:  In the detailed view for a contact, select the "3-dot-menu" and click the "Copy profile link" button.  In a contact list view (e.g. contacts.google.com), selec

The new integrated view for Gmail

Image
Google released a new, integrated look for Gmail earlier this year, making it simple to switch between important applications like Gmail, Chat, and Meet in a single, centralized area. Regarding the release of this functionality, we have some further information to provide. We are introducing the opt-out experience to a subset of Gmail users starting today. This indicates that a subset of users will by default see the new Gmail interface, but they will still have the choice to go back to the old interface using the settings menu. The new Gmail display will remain available for customers to enable via Quick settings as we continue to roll out this new experience. We will continue to closely monitor customer input both throughout this launch and going forward. When enabled, the new navigation menu makes it simple to transition between your email, crucial discussions and joining meetings without opening a new window or tab. We believe that this new experience will help you remain on top of

Start meetings more efficiently with the Calendar guest list in Google Meet

Additionally, you’ll also be able to see the RSVP status of everyone on the invite, including “optional” attendees and RSVP notes.  From here, you can reach out to those users via Chat to confirm whether they will be joining directly from Meet, eliminating the need to open additional tabs or switch to another app.  We hope this feature makes it easier for you to start meetings more efficiently by quickly determining who has not joined and sending them a nudge via Chat directly from Meet.  Getting started  Admins:  There is no admin control for this feature.  End users:  For users in eligible Google Workspace editions, this feature will be available by default for Meet calls with a Calendar event.  Rollout pace  Rapid Release and Scheduled Release domains : Extended rollout (potentially longer than

Data Loss Prevention for Drive helps protect sensitive data when users upload files to external Google Forms

The Data Loss Prevention (DLP) for Drive policies now in effect for your domain will be applied to any files that users upload to Google Forms using this functionality, which is now broadly accessible.
